About us

Shipping, without the games

We are a small British company building the parcel platform we wanted as senders ourselves, and could not find.

We ship medical and healthcare goods every day through our own businesses, and we spent years paying for shipping software by subscription, watching a cheaper service quietly not appear in the list, and writing off claims that were too tedious to chase.

ParcelControl is the answer to that. Compare every courier honestly, pay for the parcel and nothing else, and see the reason a service was recommended written next to it. Connect your own carrier accounts and we take no margin at all on those shipments.

We are early and we say so. What is built is live, what is not is named as coming, and nothing on this site is a screenshot of something that does not exist.

Never hide a cheaper option

If another courier is cheaper for your parcel, it is in the list, whether or not we earn anything on it.

Never invent a number

No made-up delivery statistics and no seeded dashboards. If we have not measured it, the screen says so.

Never charge a subscription

Free to open, free to keep. You pay for shipments and nothing else, forever.

Never take margin on your accounts

Connect your own Royal Mail, DPD or UPS account and you pay exactly what your carrier charges you.

Is it really free?

There is no subscription and no minimum volume. You pay for the shipments you book, and we earn the difference between the rate we buy at and the price you see. If you connect your own carrier accounts we take nothing at all on those shipments.

Do I need an account to get a price?

No. Quoting and comparing are public. You only sign in at the point of booking, because a label needs an address and a payment.

What happens if my parcel is lost or damaged?

Report it from your dashboard and we file the claim with the carrier and chase it for you. Damage should be reported within 24 hours and the packaging kept. Carrier deadlines are strict, so tell us early rather than waiting.

Can I use my own courier accounts?

Yes. Connect Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express or Parcelforce and we quote your negotiated rates alongside ours, with no margin added to yours.

How does the recommendation choose?

It scores every service that can carry your parcel on true cost including surcharges, speed, handover and cover, then shows the winner with the reason in plain English. It never hides a cheaper option, and you can pick any service on the list.

What can I not send?

Cash, weapons, drugs, live animals and hazardous goods among others, and some items travel only under conditions, such as lithium batteries inside equipment. The full list is on our prohibited and restricted items page, and we check what you declare at booking.

Do you handle customs for international parcels?

Yes. We collect the customs detail, generate a real commercial invoice and use commodity codes from the official gov.uk Trade Tariff, never invented ones.

Which shops can I connect?

Shopify today, WooCommerce next. Orders arrive with the recipient and parcel filled in, and booking pushes the tracking number back to the order. You can also type or import an order without any connector.
